What about metal straws?
metal straws - or stainless steel - are produced through an energy intensive process. Steel production impacts the environment negatively by emitting carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide among other gasses. These pollutants contribute to climate change. We believe that bamboo is A Little Better.
Why bamboo?
Bamboo releases up to 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere and absorbs more carbon dioxide than most other plants. These features mean that bamboo helps decrease the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and cleans the air.
